Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 July 2026
Atlas & Ode is in its pre-launch phase, and this site does two things with your data: it takes your email for the waitlist, and it lets you have a conversation with the curator. This notice explains exactly what that means, in the order it happens to you.
We do not sell your personal data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not pass it to anyone beyond the service providers named below.
Who we are
The Atlas & Ode site — at atlas-ode.com and atlas-ode.clarioo.io — is operated by CLARIOO LTD., which is the data controller for the information described here. For anything to do with your data, write to privacy@clarioo.io.
What we collect, and when
If you join the waitlist
We ask for one thing: your email address. There are no other fields, and we do not require a name.
If you talk to the curator
Before the call we ask for your email address and, optionally, your first and last name — the name is only so the curator can greet you, and you can leave it blank.
The conversation itself is a voice call with an AI agent. Your microphone audio is streamed to ElevenLabs, whose technology runs the agent, and is transcribed there. We read the transcript so that we can follow up with something useful. We also record when the call started, when it ended, and how long it lasted.
Your browser will ask for microphone permission before any audio is captured. If you decline, no call takes place.
Recorded alongside either of the above
- which of our addresses you were on;
- the site that referred you, if any;
- the
utm_source,utm_mediumandutm_campaignvalues in the link you followed, if it had them; - device type, operating system, browser and preferred language, worked out from what your browser tells every website it visits.
We do not store your IP address with these records.
While you read the page
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the page is used. It records page views, clicks, scrolling and session replays, and it sets its own cookies (_clck and _clsk) to recognise a returning session. It is an analytics tool, not an advertising one. You can opt out of Clarity through Microsoft’s own controls, or by using your browser’s tracking protection.
Why we are allowed to do this
Under UK and EU data protection law we rely on two grounds. Your consent covers the waitlist and the conversation — you give it by submitting the form or starting the call, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. Our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website covers the analytics and the technical context above.
Who else processes it
We keep the list of people who signed up in a private Google Sheet inside our Google Workspace. Beyond that, the following providers process data on our behalf:
- Google Cloud Platform — hosting for this site.
- Google Workspace — where the signup list lives.
- ElevenLabs — the voice agent you speak to, and the transcription of that call.
- Microsoft Clarity — page analytics and session replay.
These providers may process data outside the UK and the EEA, including in the United States, under the transfer safeguards they offer. We will disclose your information beyond them only if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist entries and conversation records while Atlas & Ode is being built and membership is being opened, and no longer than we need them for that. You can ask us to delete yours at any point, and we will — you do not need to give a reason. Analytics data is retained by Microsoft under its own schedule.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it;
- stop or restrict what we do with it;
- hand it over in a portable format.
You can also withdraw consent at any time, which stops any future processing based on it. Email privacy@clarioo.io and we will act on it. If you are in the UK and think we have got something wrong, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office; if you are in the EEA, to your national supervisory authority.
How we protect it
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and held in access-controlled Google accounts. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute safety — but we collect as little as we can, which is the most reliable protection there is.
Age
Atlas & Ode is built for people approaching the end of a full career. The site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes and questions
As the product takes shape this notice will change with it, and the date at the top will change too. Questions, requests, or second thoughts: privacy@clarioo.io.
